The NSU U16 Girls and U14 Boys each reached the championship match of the Puma Labor Day College Showcase in Rockford, IL over Labor Day Weekend.

NSU defeated opponents from Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin during U16 pool play, each by a 2-1 score. The team led the final 1-0 before falling 3-1 to FC United Fusion of Iowa.

In the U14 Boys bracket, NSU was 2-1-0 in pool play, reaching the final with 21 total points. NSU lost 1-0 to Strike FC Premier in the final.
