Family Education Night from CHW Sports Medicine Is Sept. 16

Help your young athlete become stronger mentally and physically by attending a Family Educational Night presented by our partners at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin Sports Medicine Program.

This free event is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Cedarburg High School LGI Room. Speakers and topics are:

  • Matt Myrvik, psychologist: Gaining the Mental Edge: Tackling Performance Anxiety and Enhancing Performance
  • Travis Vande Berg, physical therapist: Cross Training / Off Season Training for the Soccer Athlete
  • Kat Hilgeman, athletic trainer: Considerations for the Female Athlete

This information is invaluable not just to select soccer players, but to athletes of all ages and skill levels. Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is a great partner of North Shore United and this is an opportunity you shouldn’t miss.
