NSU had three division champions at the Madison 56ers Tournament over the weekend, while older teams got started with Midwest Regional League action.

In Madison, the U11 Girls Blue outscored four opponents 30-3, the U13 Girls Blue had three victories and a draw to win their bracket, and the U12 Boys White captured their bracket by defeating Elkhorn Purple 2-1 in the championship.

NSU also began Midwest Regional Play over the weekend with six teams involved at various sites. The U14 Girls Blue won both matches in Premier II West, defeating KC Spirit and Lou Fusz Walsh Red down in Rockford. The U17 Girls Blue defeated Canton Celtic Black 4-0, also in Rockford in Premier II, though Sunday results are not yet posted.
