A dominating, 12-2 victory over United Serbian FC on Sunday gave the North Shore United Majors their first victory of the fall season to go with two draws and a defeat.

The team won the Wisconsin Soccer Leagues First Division crown in 2013-14, and was promoted for this year. North Shore also added in a new First Division team to defend that title; the team is 1-2-1 after topping United Serbians 5-1 on Sunday.

NSU’s Majors opened the season with a scoreless draw against Brewers FC, lost 3-1 to Croatians and then came back with a 3-3 draw on the road at Madison Fire.

The Majors are on the road the next two Sundays, at SC Waukesha and then Polonia. They return to the PWSB Soccer Park turf field on Oct. 19 with a match against league-leading Milwaukee Kickers at 3 p.m. Prior to that match, NSU’s First Division squad takes on Bavarians at 12:30 p.m.
