The U18 Girls cruised to a dominating 4-0 win.  First half goals were scored by Abby Gregg with an assist on the first from Merin Mundt.  The scoring continued for North Shore in the second half with goals coming from Merin Mundt and Abby Gregg, as Abby ended the game with a hatrick.  Final score was 4-0 with North Shore United claiming their second straight State Championship. Congratulations to Coach Sinisa and the girls on the win!

The U15 Girls won a hard fought state championship 3-2 in pk's on Thursday night over SC Waukesha. It was the girls 3rd championship in as many tries as they proved again that they are the top team in the state. NSU opened the scoring in the second half when Courtney Hoppe put in a sliding goal off a saved Liv Banks shot to put NSU up 1-0. Liv Banks then buried the girls second goal in the back of the net with 10 minutes remaining. Waukesha would not quit however, tying the score with one minute remaining in stoppage time.

North Shore dominated both overtime periods controlling both halves of the field and put Waukesha on their heels with aggressive attacks and numerous shots, but could not finish the game off. With the game in the balance North Shore United made 6 of 7 attempts in penalty kicks and Selena Esten saved the last shot to secure the team's 3rd straight state championship, giving them the most championships for any one team in North Shore United history. Congratulations girls, and Coach Joe Hammes!

For the fall 2015-2016 season North Shore United captured 2 of the 4 state titles.
