Coaching Kick Start Program

Coaching Kick Start Program

Our Coaching Kick Start Program is for high school age players 14-19 years old seeking to share their passion for the game as staff coaches for our Grassroots and Academy age players. This opportunity is for enthusiastic and dynamic coaches who will help set the scene of a creative and fun environment for our soccer beginners. Coaches are asked to play alongside players, demonstrate skills and help kids work through challenges and celebrate the successes!

Coaches will assist Head Coaches in executing sessions by leading small groups with opportunities to learn how to organize, execute and reflect on how to navigate the coaching role. Coaching gear will be provided and staff will agree to commit to three educational mentoring sessions before enrolled in payroll.

At age 16, coaches are able to apply for an NSU coaching education scholarship to begin their coaching education pathway through USSF Grassroots licensing as well as supplemental opportunities through the Wisconsin Women’s Soccer Advisory Council events.
