Jake has lived in Milwaukee since 2012. He played high school soccer at Nicolet High School, where he was an all conference player. He played club at Bavarian Soccer Club, where he was a 2 time state cup champion. 

Jake played college soccer at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he was a 2 time Horizon League first team all conference selection, as well as second team all conference and all freshman team. In 2020 he was a captain of a conference championship winning team, and made it to the national tournament. 

Jake started coaching at Bavarian Soccer Club in 2016, where he worked his way up age groups from u8. He has obtained the USSD D license, and is in the process of earning the C license. 

Jake obtained an MS in finance from UW-Milwaukee, and is an avid Arsenal fan.
