Jose Segura

Originally from Mexico City, Jose began coaching in 2000. His early love for soccer stemmed from a family deeply embedded in the sport: his father played for the Mexican National Team in the 1940s, and his brother for Club America in the 80s. Jose, who played for the same club from age 10 to 25, discovered his coaching passion in Cancun where he lived for almost 10 years.

In 2006, he moved to Madison and began coaching U13 and under teams before joining NSU where he has coached both Academy and Select teams. Jose’s journey reflects a blend of personal passion, familial influence, and a commitment to shaping the next soccer generation while making it fun and engaging! Jose and his wife, Luisa, live in Menomonee Falls.
