While all divisions have suffered unplayed games and reschedules due to weather conditions, the NSU boys 13-18U and girls 13-14U enter their final Midwest Conference weekend jockeying for solid placement across league tables.

The 13U Boys Blue sit third in their division with solid wins against teams from Indiana, Minnesota and Illinois. Our 14U Boys Blue are strong in the hunt to maintain their Premier 2 status and split this past weekend with a loss and a win. Their Regional League is extended to June 8 where they will play hosts to Raiders FC from Illinois at PWSB Soccer Park.

Our high school boys continue to stay in contention across all divisions for solid finishes this spring. The 15U boys have a big home weekend coming up May 18-19, hosting the division’s Wisconsin teams at PWSB, while the 16U Boys Blue have finished Regional League competition. The 16U boys earned a 4-1-1 record and hold their place at the top of the table as the division plays out this week to determine final rankings.

The 17U Boys Blue hold in second place ahead of SSM Sabres from Minnesota with two games left to play in their division. The 18U Boys Blue are tied for points in 3rd place in Premier 2 and look to make the separation this weekend against Madison 56ers.

The 13U Girls Blue continue to compete in tight score-lines against teams from Illinois, Wisconsin and Missouri. Notably, the 14U Girls Blue have yet to be knocked off first place in their division and have one final game this weekend against Campton from Illinois. If the girls win, they clinch the division and will be promoted to Premier 2 for the fall season.

Best of luck to our teams as they finalize Midwest Regional competition and prepare for State Cup group games in Appleton May 25-27. Semifinals and Championships will be played at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee June 1-2.
