North Shore United's first fall soccer season following the change from Cedarburg Strikers saw many select teams post outstanding results in their respective leagues and tournaments.

The U16 girls (at right)took second place in the First Division Blue of the Midwest Regional League with a 4-1-2 record, then followed up by winning the Premier Blue division of the Scott Gallagher Fall Classic in St. Louis. To win that tournament, the team defeated JB Marine Wipke of Missouri, the current Region II champions, 3-2. Though they came up just short in their bid to repeat as state champions, losing in overtime to Appleton, the team still had a great season under Coach Sinisa Angelovski. The U16 girls are slated to play in the San Diego Surf College Cup over Thanksgiving weekend.

The U18 girls won the WYSA First Division title with a 4-1-1 mark, while capturing the Racine Lighthouse Classic and finishing second in the Madison 56ers Invitational despite not giving up a single goal. The team persevered through having both keepers lost to injuries, using field players in the net.

The U13 boys finished second in the WYSA First Division with an 8-1 record and a goal differential of 54-4. The team also won the U14 bracket at the North Shore United Fall Classic and captured the U13 division at the FC Milwaukee Invitational in August.

The U14 boys, meanwhile, took second in the WYSA Second Division and did not lose a match, with four victories and three draws.

The U12 girls finished third in the Southeast Classic League A Division with a 4-2-0 record, and the team will be promoted in the spring. The girls also were champions at the North Shore United Fall Classic.

Finally, the U12 boys finished second in the WYSA First Division with a 4-2-1 record and are being promoted to the Premier Division in the spring.

"Our fall season at North Shore United really demonstrated the quality of teams we've been able to build throughout the club,” said Joe Hammes, NSU's director of coaching. “The U16 girls just beat the fifth-ranked team in the country, and many of our teams played well enough to get promoted for their next season. I'm looking forward to keeping that momentum going through the winter training and into the spring season."

The club hosted more than 80 teams for the Fall Classic, and looks forward to an equally successful Spring Classic May 13-15, with rec teams of all ages and select boys teams from U15-18.
