North Shore United Soccer Club is extremely proud to announce a partnership with Swansea City FC of the Championship League, the second-highest level of club football in the UK.

The arrangement between the 99-year-old Swansea City and North Shore United includes opportunities for player identification and development, coaching development, camp and tournament exchanges and promotion of UK football in southeastern Wisconsin.

"North Shore United is thrilled to announce its partnership with Swansea City Football Club,” said Joe Hammes, NSU director of coaching. “This partnership is a win-win for both clubs, as Swansea City increases its presence in the United States, and NSU players and coaches will be given the opportunity to learn from one of the top professional clubs in Wales. North Shore United is committed to giving its players all of the tools needed for success, and it is our hope that this partnership will offer our players great learning and playing experiences to push their game to the next level."

Mark Koenig, NSU board president, said the partnership will “provide prime opportunities for cultural exchange between our clubs, and help North Shore United members better appreciate and understand the game on an international level.”

Swansea City is located in South Wales, and was founded in 1912 as Swansea Town. The club has been on a high since moving into a brand new stadium, Liberty Town, in 2005. Swansea City just missed the playoff to determine the final promotions to the Premier League last season, but is now second in the table with 59 points after 33 matches. The top two teams automatically move into the EPL, with the next four competing to win the third and final spot.

North Shore United is formerly the Cedarburg Soccer Club, which was founded in 1978. NSU runs programs for players of every ability and commitment level from U6 to U23, in addition to adult teams.
