Two NSU teams won their Wisconsin State Cup play-in games this week.

The U14 boys edged Mequon United 1-0 to advance to group play on Memorial Day weekend at the USA Complex in Appleton. The boys, coached by Greg Shultis, are in a bracket with the FC Milwaukee Blue team and two other play-in winners.

The top-ranked U13 boys had no trouble with Madison FC Gold, winning 7-0. They join Lake Country United and two other play-in winners in their bracket in Appleton.

Still left with a play-in game are the U14 girls, who face Oshkosh United at 10 a.m. Sunday in Appleton. Good luck to all the NSU teams in State Cup play!
