North Shore United teams bagged two titles at the area's first big tournament of the fall season over the weekend.

The U14 boys (right) and the U18 girls each captured first place at the FC Milwaukee Invitational, which draws top clubs from throughout the Midwest.

The girls captured the Bayern Munich flight with a pool play record of 2-0-1. In the finals they faced off against Eau Claire Aris FC, which had outscored opponents 18-2 in the pool play round. After playing to a 1-all draw, the NSU team prevailed in a penalty kick shootout 7-6.

The boys put on a dominating performance. Through pool play they were 3-0-0 with a 10-2 scoring advantage. They dismissed Bavarians 3-0 in the semifinals and then took out Grafton Rangers by the same score in the championship match.
