North Shore United's U17 Girls Blue was not fazed playing up an age bracket, winning the U18 division of United FC's Battle on the Border Tournament last weekend.

NSU did not allow a goal in four matches, defeating Tinley Park Strikers (3-0), Chicago Kickers (7-0), GLSA Libertyville Premier Orange (1-0) and, in the finals, RASA/Racine United Kenosha Crew (1-0).

Two other NSU teams reached the finals. The U13 Boys Blue allowed only one goal in winning all three bracket games, but fell 2-0 Elm Grove Blues in the title match.

The U11 Boys White finished second in their South Division. There were 2-1-0 in bracket play, with wins over Inter Chicago Premier Black and RASA/Kenosha Crew Navy. Waukesha Impact defeated the team in both pool play and again in the championship match.
