NSU's representatives wrapped up their stay at the US Youth Soccer Region II Championships on Monday, and despite a pair of losses came away showing they could stay with the Midwest's best teams.

The U15 boys dropped a 2-1 decision to Fort Wayne IN West Heat Elite and finished 1-2-0 in their bracket with just a minus-1 goal differential. That was a slight improvement from last year, when NSU was 0-2-1 at the U14 age level.

The U18 girls lost 3-0 to Michigan Football Club, which won the bracket. Both teams were regional semifinalists last year; NSU went all the way to the finals before losing to Team Chicago Botafogo, which is back in the semis again.
