All NSU families are invited to rally around a club-wide photo and tribute to Grant Schoen on Sunday, Nov. 17 when our Majors team plays SB United at Port Washington State Bank Soccer Park.

Arrive at 11:30 a.m. for the club-wide photo, which will be taken from high up on a Cedarburg Fire Department ladder truck. All players — U6, rec, academy or select — should wear their uniforms or warmups.

As the photo is being organized, Joe Hammes, NSU's Director of Coaching, will share updates on the continuing improvements to PWSB Soccer Park. Olsen's Piggly Wiggly will provide complimentary refreshments for the players after the photo.

Just before the Majors' 12:30 p.m. kickoff, Milwaukee Wave coach Keith Tozer will join us to help the club honor Grant, a member of our U-11 Blue team who passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 17.

The NSU Majors have a 6-1 record during their first season playing in the Wisconsin Soccer Leagues First Division. After their match, the team invites club members to join them for food and drinks at Smitty's On The Edge. (The Packers kick off against the Giants at 3:25 p.m.)
