The NSU U14 girls won all four matches to capture the Premier Division of the Battle of the Border tournament in Kenosha on Aug. 23-24.

NSU beat Honor (IL) 5-1, Sockers FC Chicago Elite 2-0 and Racine United Red 1-0. In the final, NSU beat SC43 Fusion 1-0. Courtney Hoppe scored the only goal of the final match in the first half, and the defense shut the opposition down allowing only one shot on goal for the entire game. 

The U14 girls are the defending Wisconsin state champion.
