NSU won five of six matches during the first two days of the fall Wisconsin State Cup pool play at Uihlein Soccer Park.

The U16 Girls defeated Rush from Madison and Brookfield Soccer Association by identical 2-1 scores, and advanced to the semifinals. NSU rounds out pool play against Milwaukee Kickers next weekend.

The U17 Girls did not allow a goal in defeating Strike FC and Elm Grove. A matchup with USA Stride, also 2-0-0, will determine the semifinalist from this bracked.

The U18 Girls defeated DePere 4-1 on Saturday but then fell 1-0 to FC Green Bay on Sunday. Their last match is next Saturday against Brookfield; if NSU wins and FC Green Bay loses to DePere, NSU will advance.

Fall State Cup matches conclude with finals on Oct. 2. Spring matches include all boys teams and girls teams U13-15.
