The NSU U17 Girls got away to warmer climes over the New Year’s holiday, going unbeaten in four matches at the Disney Showcase in Orlando.

Playing in the Premier Red division, NSU beat AFC Lighting of Georgia 1-0, then drew 1-all with Soccer Nova Scotia and South Jersey Elite Barons. With five points, NSU advanced to the third-place match, where the team defeated NEFC Elite of Massachusetts 2-1.

NSU remains ranked No. 1 in Wisconsin and No. 7 in Region II according to GotSoccer.com.
