North Shore United is excited to announce a partnership with Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club, YMCA and GiGi’s Playhouse via WYSA’s TOPSoccer Program to create a seasonal schedule. By working together, North Shore United is able provide a more consistent program throughout the year for our TOPSoccer families.

The program is free and will start in March from 12:00-1:00pm, indoor at Uihlein Soccer Park. Dates for the spring cycle are March 10, 17, 24 and April 7, 14, 21, 28.

TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is designed for children with special needs. NSU welcomes any athlete ages 4-21 years of age with any physical and/or cognitive special needs to take part in soccer practice. All players will learn basic soccer skills, play soccer related games and meet new friends.

“TOPSoccer has been part of my life since I was a young teenager and I’m so excited to facilitate this program for North Shore,” said NSU TOPSoccer leader, Shannon Smyth. “One piece that I am passionate about it exposing our NSU club players to differently abled TOPSoccer players. When we train, they are teammates. We need to keep educating our young community about differently abled peers so that we create an inclusive culture on and off the field.”
