Leila grew up in East Troy WI, traveling to Mequon to play club for Mequon United and played college soccer for Western Illinois University where she was a part of the women's inaugural season.  Coaching for 20+ years at a variety of levels through Menomonee Falls Soccer Club, Falls Kickers and now North Shore United.  

Away from soccer Leila is an Executive Director for the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee and lives in Menomonee Falls with her husband and 2 kids who both play for NSU.
